TRAVELER COMMENT: Stella has a tremendous breadth and depth of Siena from both a historical perspective as well as a current day resident. We have had numerous tours in the past, Stella ranks at the top. She did the impossible with our group of 3 teenagers and 4 adults, she kept everyone's attention throughout the entire tour which she extended to answer all of our questions.

 

Brunello, Montalcino, Pienza and the Val d’Orcia

 

Perfect landscapes, magic hills, cypress trees, vineyards will lead us to discover the Valdorcia Natural Park, Unesco World Heritage Site.

 

From the Park of the Mills in Bagno Vignoni with its unique natural hot spring in the main square to the perfumes  of the medieval  MontalcinoBrunello wine dogc, form the Renaissance in Pienza, restored by Pope Pius II Piccolomini to the farms where one of the best pecorino cheese is produced. and its powerful

 San Quirico d’Orcia and the Chigi Palace with its gardens, the Horti Leonini, Monticchiello and its Popular Theatre, the festivals the fortresses and the Sienese paintings.

 This and much more is what is offering to you the Valdorcia, cuddled by Gregorian Chants in the Abbey of Saint Antimo, not forgetting the gardens of Villa la Foce and the Palazzo Piccolomini.
